An immersive two-hours workshop for teachers from primary to secondary and high schools was held in the framework of DIDACTA on line event on 18 March 2021 by the TROPOMAG outreach team.
Giovanna Lucia Piangiamore presented case studies and innovative educational products for schools developed in the framework of previous INGV projects about natural risks mitigation and environmental education. Then teachers became players in a virtual classroom of GeoQuest held by Sabina Maraffi and Francesco Sacerdoti (www.evoquest.eu). After this engaging experience in the computer classroom with the “GeoQuest Hawaii” digital role playing game, teachers were invited to participate in the design and step by step test of the next GeoQuest adventure that will be developed within the TROPOMAG project.
