Dr. Laura Motta, archaeologist at the University of Michigan, is carrying out the sampling of the cores collected in the Castiglione paleolake in order to understand the age of the upper part of the section and studying the paleoenvironmental variations of the basin relating to the human presence and particular to the ancient town of Gabii.
