Sections of sedimentary core collected from Tyrrhenian seabed (Photo P. Macrì)..On 17 February 2021, the two sedimentary cores, collected from the Tyrrhenian seabed, were withdrawn from the ISMAR-CNR of Naples. These cores have reached the ISMAR-CNR laboratories in Bologna where the high-resolution X-ray scan will be performed. This analysis will allow the characterization of the sedimentological properties of the cores.
