Giulia Pignatiello

Giulia Pignatiello is a PhD student in Geosciences (GEO/11) at the University of Bari Aldo Moro, Department of Earth and GeoEnvironmental Sciences.
She received her Master's Degree in Geological and Geophysical Sciences (LM-79) from the University of Bari in 2022 with a grade of 110/110, discussing her thesis in “Seismic Risk”. 
She obtained his license to practice as a Geologist (Sec A) in 2023. 
Her current research focuses on the use of electromagnetic (EM) techniques for subsurface characterization and the development of methods for the analysis of EM data, particularly magnetotelluric data. 
As part of her PhD project, she collaborates with the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV-Section Roma 2) in the project “Magnetotelluric surveys and data analysis for the realization of a large-scale resistivity model for Central Italy,” within which she is directly involved in the processing of magnetotelluric measurements (Task 4).
