Luca Miconi joined the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology in 2011 in the Central Administration.

Since 2015 he has been part of the Functional Unit of Geophysics for the Environment and Territory (Rome 2 section). He mainly deals with magnetic data processing and geophysical prospecting campaign.

He is involved in the seismic surveillance and on-call service for the installation of temporary seismic stations.

He is involved in the Degree Programme “Geographical Sciences for environment and health” at La Sapienza University in Rome.
