Pasquale De Gori graduated in Earth Sciences at the University of Roma, Italy, in 1996, with a thesis focused on the teleseismic tomography of Italy.

He obtained his Ph.D in Earth Sciences at the University of Pavia, Italy, in1999, with a thesis on the computation of 3-D P wave velocity model for the crust and upper mantle below southern Apennines of Italy.

Since 2003, he has a permanent researcher position at Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (INGV), in Rome.

He is now involved in the following branches of seismological research: a) analysis of continuous seismograms for the detection of earthquake signals; b) crust and earth mantle modelling by using velocity and attenuation seismic tomography; c) study of the temporal evolution of elastic properties of the crust by time lapse seismic tomography; d) statistical analysis of seismic catalogues; e) study of the seismic source parameters.
