Vincenzo Sapia graduated in Geology in 2008 with 110/110 cum laude at the University of Rome III. He attended the II Level Master in: “Global Environment Protection and International Policies” held by Ministero dell’Ambiente and the Università della Tuscia. He received his Ph.D. in 2014 in Geophysics at the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna. Since 2017, he is a technologist with permanent position at the INGV. 

His main research interests include the applied geophysics to geological, hydrogeological, environmental and archaeological investigations. He is interested in many aspects of applied geophysics, from data processing and inversion to data interpretation and 3-D modeling. During the last ten years, he coordinated several field geophysical campaigns both in Italy and around the world. He is also actively involved in several scientific research projects. He is author and coauthor of more than 60 between scientific papers and extended abstracts from conferences worldwide.

In the framework of MARGE project, he is the responsible of Task 3 - MT data acquisition- and specifically he is involved in the acquisition and interpretation of ground MT data acquired in central Italy.
