My role in the project includes a review of the fumarole areas and / or fumarolizzate areas of Campi Flegrei. The collection of samples (essentially sulphides and hydrated sulphates) at the emergence of the fumaroles, both sublimated and medium and low temperature incrustations, will be followed by the vision of the various phases under a binocular microscope and subsequent analyzes where necessary. The study aims in addition to better and greater knowledge of the mineralogy of the areas, also establish the relationships between mineralogical phases – deposition temperature - and gaseous phases associated.
