On the 13th April 2022 a GNSS station, called MEFI, was installed at the Serro del Bosco locality in the Mefite D’Ansanto area (40.96638° N, 15.13897°E). It is equipped with an Alloy GNSS receiver and antenna GNSS-Ti Chock-Ring v2 both of TRIMBLE company. The Geodetic monumentation is performed by a deep drilled braced tripod having each leg penetrating up to 1.8m into the ground. The power is guaranteed by a solar panel and 2 backup batteries. The communication for GPS data transmission is supported by router LTE-SXT.
